Today I have a stationery haul from Etsy! I never really thought much about buying stationery from Etsy but it’s actually a goldmine to finding stationery from Japan. In fact, some companies, like Cute Things From Japan, started on Etsy and then expanded into what they are now. Remembering this as well as wanting to find a bunch of sakura stationery for my journal this month, I went and had a look and found some pretty amazing stationery that I’m so excited to use!
Most of the stationery comes from Daiso, the 100 yen store in Japan, which is the equivalent of our dollar store here in the U.S. Since I’ve never been to Japan nor the west coast of the U.S., we don’t have a Daiso where I live and I have to say, I was pretty impressed with the quality of the stationery. It’s really good quality and looks really nice as well!
I bought from two different sellers, the first one being TM Japan.
They shipped everything really fast and it arrived to me in about a week, which is really fast coming to Florida all the way from Japan. There was no tracking but I wasn’t too worried, based on the positive reviews. The total for these items was around $37, which included shipping and I thought it was a fair price based on what I got.
I always find it nice when sellers include a little personal note. It’s just an extra touch that shows us, the buyers, that they care. Plus, they wrapped the goods in this sakura bag, so they kept the sakura theme going here, haha!
*Sorry for the bad glares (^◇^；)
This is the sticky note pad and I think it’s so cool that in Japan, these tend to have a little stand, allowing you to be able to quickly grab one for your convenience.
These two items are the die-cut cards and they’re so cute! I absolutely love the cat one and can’t wait to use it!
Next we have stickers! I couldn’t resist them and got as many as I could, hahaha!
My favorite stickers are the clear ones but the cat ones are a close followup ^-^
They even included some samples! And I love that they stuck to the sakura theme! That is everything I got from this seller. I love everything and am looking forward to using everything!
The next seller that I ordered from is Pandamoniann. They shipped really fast as well and the package arrived in a week’s time. They did come with tracking and they have more payment methods available. The total for this order was $21.50 which is a bit pricey for what I got, but to me personally, I think it was worth it.
I managed to find a full roll of washi tape of the Cardcaptor Sakura x It’s Demo collaboration and some samples of the others! I am really happy that I was able to find this, especially since Cardcaptor Sakura is my favorite and I was drooling over this collaboration since finding out about it. Plus finding products of these collaborations tends to be a bit expensive, so it feels like I got a bit of a good deal for this, even if it may of been a bit pricey in the end.
Honestly, I can’t choose a favorite for these, I just love them so much and would have gotten a full roll of any of them. If you love Cardcaptor Sakura, definitely at least grab some samples, I know I still saw some in the shop!
That’s everything in this Sakura-filled haul! I hope you enjoyed it and definitely check out those shops if you found stuff that you liked yourself, they still have some of it available! Honestly, I never thought much of Etsy but am glad to have given it a try because it really is a great place to find Japanese stationery that may otherwise be unavailable to you.
